Why is "Windows Fix" $20 more than "PC Tune-up?"

How do I get my computer to you?

The main reason we can keep the prices so low is that we don't have a store front. We work out of our home. We are a father and son operation. We live in South Gate, CA., so at the moment you'll have to drop off your computer at our home. When you e-mail or send us a message though our contact page we will give you our address. What files can you save from my computer?

Just because your computer won't start doesn't mean we can't save your data. We will try to save any documents, pictures, music, or movies that you wish. With a reinstallation of Windows, we will provide you with a DVD of all your backed-up files. Usually viruses won't effect your personal files on your computer, they do however damage the files that run your computer. The only time your files can't be saved is if there is damage to your harddrive.

What is hard drive defragmentation?

When you have been using your computer for awhile, the files on your hard drive becomes fragmented. When you save a file to your computer, the whole file doesn’t always get saved all together. So when you open a file your computer has to find all of its parts in different areas on your hard drive. This process takes time. So if you “defrag” your drive it will run a lot faster.
